Meal worm (?) for ID
Hi,

I'm not good with IDing larvae at all (I'm assuming this is some kind of larvae?!) and I'm curious as to what this little creature is! It was found inside an old tree stump (that was also home to a large ant colony).



Any help would be fantastic, thanks!

Hi Jane- definitely a beetle larva + I think it's one of the species of click beetles.

Thanks for the reply. A quick search tells me that this is a wireworm, indeed a member of the click beetle family - thank you!
