| | | Help identifying black caterpillar Hi everyone,
Could anyone help to identify this black caterpillar, which I found in my garden yesterday. I live in England yet I can't find this caterpillar on any UK sites. The catepillar is black with greyish bands, it has a couple of yellow spots and a black tail. (Pictures attached). At the time it was also feeding on a common vetch weed.
Thank you! |

| | | Re: Help identifying black caterpillar Hello, (new member),
Could I also ask about a caterpillar seen today on the Quantock Hills in Somerset. Very dark brown, not quite black, with fine orange ring between each segment, the second segment divider being a double orange ring.
Regards,
