We have a large conifer i could put his container under which would be dry but cool or would he be better in the shed bearing in mind we could still have a few warm days?

"caterpillar guru" - yeah, kinda wished I hadn't replied Only joking!!! General dead leaves should be fine. I can only speak by experience, I put Ern in the shed and he turned out alright!

quick update.... Wormy has pupated and is residing in his fish tank(with snorkel) and a few sticks in the shed ready for emerging next year!

Well done Wormy ur half way there hun
