| | | help-ID maggot/larvae from woodland please What are these?
My son found a writhing ball of these, in soil just below the leaf litter in a mixed broadleaf woodland in North Somerset. There were about 15 altogether, each less than 1cm long. They were very actively trying to get away from the light/dig their heads into my trousers/hand. Photo of them and finding spot attached.
Many thanks!
