| | | Orange Eggs Hi,
I found this patch of Orange Eggs on one of my chilli plants this afternoon. I have a feeling that they are Shieldbug eggs but can't be 100% sure as I've only ever seen green shieldbug eggs but they seem to be similar, can anybody confirm?
Thanks

| | Re: Orange Eggs I can see the similarity with eggs of shieldbugs, but some moth eggs can be a similar shape + there does appear to be a geometrid type caterpillar that looks as though it may have recently emerged from one of the eggs (which have hatched). |

I'm pretty sure that the caterpillar in the shot has emerged from one of the cells. The attached shot seems to show the unhatched eggs having the same colour and markings as the caterpillar. So, am I right to think that your saying that they could be some type of Moth eggs?
Cheers

Gray | Yes they appear to be moth eggs- one of the "loopers" or geometrids. |
