| | | Caterpillar with Yellow Stripe ID help please
I found this caterpillar on a leaf in New Ferry Butterfly Park, Wirral. I'm not sure of the species. It had several quite long black hairs and small red markings either side of it's black body which had a vivid yellow stripe down the centre. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks |

| | | Re: Caterpillar with Yellow Stripe ID help please Was your caterpillar dead by any chance? I found a dagger moth caterpillar in the same state (with what look like fungal hyphae tying it to the leaf) last weekend. I'll post a pic when I'm back from work. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
