ID help - tiny irridescent eggs on leaf, under web/silk cover, picture included

Very, very small, oblong eggs (0.1mm?), pearlish irridescent colour. Not sure what they are. There's a cover of some kind of web or silk over them. Afraid to say I picked their leaf off the tree, think they can be hatched in a jam jar or similar, or should I return it to the twig?


Just something else I saw on a different tree, waiting for a car. ID?

I should get into naturalism more, it seems really interesting

Your second photo shows a ladybird larva (7-spot I think) looking as though it's ready to pupate.

I think the pearly egg things are parasitised aphids.
