Hi folks could anyone tell me what is emerging from this pupa? Looks as if it may be a ladybird?

Also, anyone any ideas on this caterpiilar?

First is as you say a ladybird emerging, either Harlequin or 7-spot.

Second is a caterpillar...that's as much as I know

I find these caterpillare so hard, so many insects with larvae that looks the same

It's a larva (caterpillar) of a Sawfly. It has too many legs to be a moth or butterfly.

Thanks for your help both of you, I`m happy just to narrow it down to Sawfly Lava
