| | | Caterpillar ID help please... Hi Guys & Girls,
I don't know much about caterpillars & can't find this anywhere, it's probably really an easy one or a common one but if you can help me ID it I would be very grateful.
Taken about a week ago with my mobile phone.
On underside of an umbrella under a Cotoneaster.
In my concrete rented garden in Hertfordshire.
C40mm long.
Green body.
Two rows of yellow-white dashes along each side.
Yellow-white line along back.
8 red spots along each side.
Can't tell if it has very few tiny hairs or whether they are fibres from the fabric.
Any ideas?
Kind Regards, VELORAPTOR. |

just looked it up & it's spot on. I notice the site stated specifically Leylandii Leyland Cypress for this species, well, I forgot to mention that next to the said umbrella is a row of 3 huge Leylandii thanks again mate, seen them before & never found out what they were. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
