If you have a top shot perhaps we can ID it, if you havent already?

Ken | Thanks Ken, the photo of its topside isn't that great I'm afraid. Been looking in my book and I thought maybe a Xanthogramma Pedissequum (but I'm a complete beginner with these)

That wing vein dipped is quite marked - and with that shape and markings it might be Didea intermedia, but I'm not at all sure.
It would be a good idea to put that pic up again for ID on a new thread and see if the team can come up with a solution.....................
