(yet another) Caterpillar ID, please

Although my photo seems to indicate that there is blue in this caterpillar, I suspect that it should be black, otherwise colours are accurate. Help with ID of this fairly large (probably moth) caterpillar much appreciated.

This is a Small Eggar, a nationally scarce species although Dorset seems to do quite well for them. They really are that navy blue colour, beautiful caterpillars!

Thank you for the ID of Small Eggar. I am pleased that they are blue after all and it wasn`t a trick of the light; it was certainly very eye-catching. I must look out for the imago in due course.....
