Looks like WW has it.
I have been looking for a caterpillar identification site online. I think it would be a useful internet resource. I could get a book as I always seem to be asking about caterpillars, but an interactive tool, like at Rogers Mushrooms, would be a faster way to get a potential ID I think.

The only downside is that you do need to know roughly which area to be looking in or you can spend a long time searching!
Guy
edit: I've also found this very useful - http://www.nhm.ac.uk/jdsml/research-...nts/index.dsml in narrowing down the search if you've found a caterpillar on its plant, although it's not particularly helpful when a plant has had hundreds of species recorded on it!

| | | Re: Caterpillar for ID That's a cool site. Thanks Guy.
Although yes, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is that I don't know the right area to be looking in.
