Caterpillar ID required

Well, I have several books with good images and drawings of caterpillars but I can't seem to tie this one down comprehensively

I thought it might be a large white? Any ideas to put me out of my misery

Because no one has replied yet I'm going to say the closest caterpillar I came up with before which is a Sloe Pug caterpillar (Pasiphila chloerata).

I thought this because I think I can see the pinkish stripe along the back and it is described as having a plump pale green or whitish body. Also the head, front legs and tail looked the same.

I leave it to you to have a look and see what you think, I'm really not sure

Hi, thanks for the reply, I think you are probably right, there does appear to be a pinkish stripe down the back. I've had a look in my British Moths and Butterflies and this is the only one with this feature, although it does look quite a bit brighter, however I suppose this is very much dependant on its state of development.
