Angle shades is a definite possibility but I thought they were brown,
my Collins Wild Guide Butterflies and Moths however says green and
brown
The Porter photo is not particularly good but it is green

Hi,
yeah, Angle Shades. I reared some of these a couple of months ago and I got both green and brown forms from eggs laid by the same female.

Looks like ones i've had wandering round garden all winter, they seem to be the same but either green or brown so sounds like a match. Royal Horticultural Society - Advice: Angle Shades Moth

I would also opt for Angle Shades, this moth is continuously brooded and you can see it in any stage throughout the year. | | | |
