| | | Caterpillar ID please I have a caterpillar I need an ID on please - I will try to upload a photo, but in the meantime, I will do my best to give a description....
It's yellow, with a pale brown head and black face. It looks like a Waxworm, but thinner and more yellow. Could it be a little waxworm? It came complete with a cocoon, which is cream in colour and quite transparent. It was found in a house and there was a good few cocoons there.
Thanks! |

| | | Re: Caterpillar ID please It does look like a Pyralid (which waxworms are a member), the best advice I can offer on this one is to rear it into an adult. The adults are much easier to ID. Although there are several with bright yellow larvae. |
