Heres more pictures of this type of larvae... I have a three story hutch for my ferrets and I'm finding these in there each day in no specific area... found 4 yesterday one of which wasn't moving and looked hardened and so I thought it maybe hibernating or pupating... found one in their water dish this morning

... I wondered if they may be the type of moth larvae which you might find in your wardrobe munching away on the cotton of clothing (in this case eating my ferrets bedding but haven't found any damage yet)
or they may be feasting on crumbs left over from their food. Can;t imagine them feeding on the ferrets excrement but I don't know...
Hopefully they aren't feeding on the wood of the hutch
They vary in size but the larger ones are approximately 2cm in length.
