Idnetification - 'Eggs' on grass
Hi,

I've tried the Mushroom forum, but nobody seems to know what these are - are they insect related?



They turn black within the day or after 3 hours inside.

This example was on the side of the cricket green, but I've also found them on leaves in the woods.

The only thing I can think of is "Shotgun Fungus"Sphaerobolus stellatus it fires tiny sticky balls a long shot but the only reply you have had so far
