unidentified caterpillar


I found this just walking along the street, it now has started to spin a cocoon in a nasturtium leaf. Please can anybody tell me what it is, we are in West Yorkshire between Leeds and Huddersfield.

Pale Tussock Calliteara pudibunda, sometimes called the 'hop dog' as it uses Hop as a food-plant.

Thank you, just showed the kids a picture of the moth it will change into and they are quite dissappointed, I think they were expecting something more spectacular!!
