Can anyone help me, i have an infestation of several beetles in my house, firstly there's woodworm secondly the varied carpet beetle and the wooly bears, then i have mealworm beetle or it could be the death watch beetle and then the latest edition is the case bearing carpet moth. are these all linked? whats the next beetle or insect goin to be!? i have had my house sprayed which involved me removing all my furniture and carpets in order for the sprayers to do there job but all are still alive and now i have the case bearing carpet/cloth moth to add to the list. its drivin me mad beyond belief. if anyone has any ideas as to why i have all these unwanted visitors please do tell me. i have purchased all new furniture and carpets as i was under the impresion that the spray had killed them off, which is what i was told by the company that done the sprayin. but it now feels i have wasted £4000 on furniture only for it to be reinfested |

How old is the house? I would get back to the pest controllers and ask them to come and look at their habdiwork - NO call-out fee - Or go to your local council and report the infestation.

1930's and they've been out and said it will take time for them to die off which is not what they origianally said. the local enviromental service will not help me at all have written to them 3 times. are these infestations all linked? |

Find out where the environmental service people are sited and go there Demand to talk to someone and tell them the problem. It is their problem too. You pay taxes or council tax, make a nuisance of yourself, force them to help you.
Get on to the people that did the spraying and tell them there is law on your side = Trades Description Act - for a start. If they said 'done and dusted' and the problem is still there then they failed to complete the contracted work. be nice at first but don't let them bull you.
Dig around on the net.
Find others with the same/similar problem, what did they do? Get legal advice, CAB or some such.
