Stony Stratford, Bucks. On fence below ash, sycamore and willow.
Size: ~7.5mm (body only - not including long hairs).
Help with identification appreciated:

Hi Bruce, I think it could be a vaporer moth but could be wrong so will await the experts..
Nice pic as usual.
Not sure I dont think it is one looking at pics on the web..

Thanks for your comments Elaine . It's quite a small caterpillar so I'm guessing it's an early/mid instar - so it might look a bit different to some of the web images (of whatever it is).

Thanks for your suggestion Jennie - from web images the two bright-orange nodules near the back end would be a good fit.
