Caterpillar ID please
Hi All,

I've been watching this caterpillar every day for the last week. This is the last time he posed nicely; since then he's spent his days curled up on the underside of the leaf. Any ideas why? When is he feeding???

sawfly larva, what was the plant?

Thanks Andricus. I'm not sure precisely what plant this is, so I'll have a look tonight to check.

I didn't think this could be a sawfly larva because of its sheer size; it is so much larger than the rose sawfly larva on the adjoining rose bush!
