Little caterpiller ID please

This was on top of a ragwort flower tonight, but the ragworts are amongst some nettles.

It was less than an inch long, and looped a little when moving, but stood bolt upright when disturbed.

Can someone ID it please?

Had one of these little ones on the breakfast cereal box 2 days ago and am currently looking up ID. I'll let you know if I find out what it is. Fascinating to watch their movemennts, looping and the actions of a meerkat standing upright.....................
