| | | ID this hairy fellow Found him crawling on my front path so after snapping some pics I put him in the bushes. I have buddleia and a small nettle patch so thought maybe peacock/small tortoise shell or red admiral(all which I have seen on the buddleia lately) but I didn't see any others around the nettles and it seemed a bit bigger/hairer than what I remember their caterpillars being. The pics are not great sorry. It's not apparent in the pic but it has a yellowish stripe running down it's back. |

| | | Re: ID this hairy fellow Thanks a lot guys I've only ever seen ermine moths a couple of times and only once seen a tiger moth. So was it on the move to feed or pupate or what? I should defo be safe in the bushes in my front garden. |
