Is this a Case moth larva or caddis fly larva, please?
If it is either, where did it get the little bits of stuff from, seeing it's on a bare leaf?  |

I always believed caddis fly larva lived under water. I may well be wrong though, it happens often!

Actually, scrap that; I haven't got a clue!

It does look a bit like one though! On closer inspection of the picture it looks very much like a dropping - I take it you did see it moving  ?

I think it looks like an owl pellet too, though it's probably too small and doesn't explain why it's stuck to the leaf...  | | |
