| |  Caterpillar on Rosa Canina Perthshire
A few days ago I noticed this caterpillar as I was taking photos of rosehips. I went back the next day and it was still there so I presume its feeding from the leaves. Does anyone know what type of caterpillar this is?

Thanks everyone for your prompt replies, after checking your id's against google images I'm leaning on it being a Vapourer plus I came across this photo already on the Wild About Britain Gallery and I think they are very similar. Vapourer Moth Caterpillar - Orgyia antiqua - Wildlife Photography

Not a Grey Dagger as that has only 1 large 'tuft' about 1/3 of the way down from the head (I have a parasitised one in a tub in front of me!). I'd say Vapourer too by the number & positioning of the 'tufts'.
