Caterpillar for Identification

Hi folks,

I took the below pics at Box Hill (Surrey) last month, but as yet I've not been able to ID the caterpillar. There were two different types of 'cocoon':





I think, however, that the same species of caterpillar was in both:



Any ideas as to what species this is would be gratefully received.

Looks like a burnet moth caterpillar, would go with 6 spot as the most common in UK, although yrs looks to have less black than a 6 spot...sure someone will jump in and confirm or otherwise!
