Help identifying larvae/caterpillars please!

Hi, I came across these in our school nature garden in Hampshire this afternoon. Any help with an ident would be gratefully recieved!
This one is on a grass blade, possibly Yorkshire Fog. there were only one or two of them


The second one was on Viburnum opulus

Managed to sneak out this afternoon and found a larger version of the one in the first picture (not much, maybe 1mm larger). Didn't have my camera but I can clarify that it seems to be a beetle or something as opposed to a butterfly/moth as it had just 3 pairs of legs at the front and the bristles are branched if that helps. I have searched through every image I can find with no luck so far

The second photo shows the Viburnum Beetle larva, Pyrrhalta viburni, which attacks various Viburnum species, but seems particularly partial to the native Guelder Rose, V. opulus.

Ah, thankyou! I am trying to identify them so I can show the children what they will grow into. They were amazed at what a "baby" ladybird looked like!
