When I saw this thing I thought 'this looks like it should be easy enough to ID'. Well... I certainly haven't had much luck so far. 
I found it running across a plank of wood, surrounded by rough grass - mainly cocksfoot. Anyone able to lend a hand?

Alot of these about at the moment. It's actually a Tortrix Moth larva.

I have found a few cats similar to this if not the same. I have raised them and released them and they were Timothy tortrix!
