Caterpillar ID - upland site

Could anyone help identify the attached caterpillar please? It was found at an upland site in south Wales today, and is approximately 5cm in length.

Looks like a Drinker moth cat to me

Bit worried that it seems to be on dried out grass..they like moist lush couch grass if poss...hence the name...they appear on drenched grasses, seeming to drink the liquid...but they can move pretty fast onto new food. Be careful if trying to handle these...I am not allergic to any other sp of caterpillar but these are terrible!

Well you answered my query with this one as well! Although mine was found on dry vegetation too - on the periphery of a dune system but also in south Wales.
