Not a lot of info to go on there  looks like a moth caterpillar, the most common at this time of year being the green form of angle shades, but can't see any markings...so bit tricky- do you have other pics?  |

Thanks for the help folks.
Next question, in the 5 days since the caterpillar was found, it has now turned into a cocoon.
We have it in a tub with air-holes in it. My daughter wants to see what happens next, so what is the best way for her to monitor it?
How soon can we expect a moth to emerge approximately, if the tub is kept in the house?
Will it survive in this tub?
