when will moth emerge

I found an eyed hawk moth caterpillar in my garden bac in september and i cared for it untill it pupated a couple of weeks later, i was wondering if anyone knows when it will emerge and whether there is anything specific i need to do in looking after it,

It should emerge in May early or late depending where in Britain you are, the adult does not feed so requires no food. I would advise you photo it and let it go so it can breed.
