Help - ID and look after caterpillar please
My daughter and I would like to help this little chap we found in the house. Suspect he may have hitched a ride in fresh veg from my Dad's garden. Leeks and carrots.
We have put him in a plastic tub with leaves, grass and some budlia but don't know what to do. Is there any way we can help him or would he be happier outside in the garden? Thank you.

Prepupal Large Yellow Underwing Moth feed on a number of garden plants/weeds. put it on some clean soil and it will burrow to pupate. Will hatch after Spring if kept cool outside under cover.
