| | Identify white body, black head which pops out both ends of pinl hard tube What the bejesus is THIS ??!!?? Found half-way up a wall in my dining room. It's a little pinkish tube - out of which a little fellow with a white body and black head pops out of BOTH ends ! Never seen anything like this before.
Have I entered into a 1950s sci-fi film...? |

| | | Re: Identify white body, black head which pops out both ends of pinl hard tube I could well be wrong here as I claim very little knowledge of micro moths (I'm a macro lass!), but I reckon it could be a case moth larva of some description. Species of several families do this including the Psychidae and Incurvariidae, plus possibly others (I'm not sure) |

There are more of them, lots more.
Round the edges of the room, next to the wall; round the legs of your furniture, under anything that sits flat on the floor, however heavy... Case Bearing Clothes Moth |
