| | | Larva for I.D. Beetle? I posted this one back in September along with a caterpillar. I got an i.d. on the caterpillar but not on this larva. Any ideas please?
No I haven't got a better photo and maybe that is why no-one can i.d. it for me |

| | | Re: Larva for I.D. Beetle? I can't make out from the photo if it has pro-legs or not. If it hasn't then it must be a beetle larva of some sort. If there are pro-legs it's probably a sawfly larva. It looks rather big for a beetle larva, but without a better picture I'm a bit stumped.

Look at the larva of the Figwort Sawfly Tenthredo scrophulariae, I got pics of that this year. Sawflies

Janet | You're good. That looks a very good match. I like to give people a challenge.
