| | | Mystery Catterpillar Shingle Street.
My wife and I came across this lonely fellow making his way across the shingle and sparce grass at Shingle Street, a wild and wind blown place.
We would love to know what it is the larvae of, we suspect a moth of some kind.
Please help. |

| | | Re: Mystery Catterpillar Shingle Street. Hello Brian. Good to see another Suffolk person here on WAB. Your caterpillar is indeed that of a moth, the Fox Moth. If you pick them up they are very good at leaving lots of hairs in your skin. Keep enjoying WAB

It was quite a sight to see an elderly lady prostrate on the shungle trying to take this photograph in an extremely strong wind blowing off the North sea. Such is my wifes dedication.
We used to live in BSE what a coincidence.
Struggling with the hurdles of WAB demands but gradullay make progress I think!!. |

I reckon you're getting to grips pretty well with WAB - your Little Owl certainly says so. Good to have you around. I was down at Bawdsey for an afternoon in August, whilst camping at Shottisham. Small world | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
