Whose this green giant eating our aspen tree?
Can anyone identify this caterpillar. Its about 2inches long, has a taste for Aspen leaves and doesn't mind the far north coast of Scotland,nor do its several friends!?

could be a lime or poplar hawkmoth caterpillar, but a bigger photo would make identification easier

With those red spots its a variant of the Poplar Hawk.
