Unknown hairy, white and grey striped caterpillar with black, red and orange spots

This is my first post, had no luck searching the internet to identify this so I thought I would put an image up to see if anyone knew what this is.

Hello Sam and welcome to WAB. I hope you stay around - I'm sure you'll find it very interesting and rewarding.
I believe that the caterpillar is that of the Yellow-tail Moth, but I am sure that one of the experts will be along shortly to confirm or advise otherwise

It's a Dark Dagger Acronicta tridens

It's a good record because there are two similar moths, the Grey Dagger and Dark Dagger which are indistinguishable as adults, but you can tell the difference with the caterpillars
