Anyone seen this one before ? It was the only one as far as I could see. Figwort weevil pupae look like seed pods in my experience, so I don't think that is it.

Not many other photos on the web as far as I can see, and most show these in aggregations rather than singles (as in Ladybirds of Surrey').
