I found a couple of these beautiful caterpillars today, looking at the web the nearest I can get to is Drinker Moth but I am not sure.

| | | Re: Unidentified Caterpillar Yeah, the different instars are quite different - ukleps has some photos of earlier instars.
The later instars are less variable and are easily recognized once you get your eye in - no other (native) species resembles the Drinker moth larvae. They are also one of the few larvae commonly encountered without having to grub around on the floor or looking on undersides of leaves (as the recent flurry of pictures on WAB will testify!). |

Snap it was yours that gave me the idea mine was drinker moth. I checked several web sites and didn't find anything similar.
