what are these??

Out walking i have come across these tiny black,insects!! they hang from a thread in trees they move like a caterpillar but so tiny any ideas?

no but i will try and get one i live in surrey and every day we walk the dogs the reason we noticed them as when walking under trees we walk into the their webs ( just a tiny thread and the tiny long black insect like a caterpillar as when theyre on your hand they move like one ) we have noticed so many in the last 3 weeks .

Possibly Sawfly larvae, they can hang down on silken threads
