Help me ID caterpillar!!!

Hi can anyone tell me what this caterpillar is that I have found and if I can keep it successfully til it 'blooms' lol!........

Its sort of whitey, beigey, skin coloured, sort of creamy colour with tiny black sppots all over its body!!! Its also got tiny weeny hairs on it! I have a few of the cabbage butterflies or whatever they are called in the garden and wondered if it was one of those?? I will try to take a pic of it and post it to show u but in the mean time if anyone knows please let me know!!!xx

Hi, sorry no can do on the picture as the little critter seems to have escaped!!! Never mind, I will keep trying to see what I can find on my new garden travels!!!
