| | | Please could anybody identify this Larvae I have found two larvae? in a garden in Manchester.
They are mostly green in colour, 3inch long.
With a spike at one end.
With marking that look like eyes, running the length of its body.
I have a photo on my computer but it is 885k big.
How could I shrink it to fit on this site.
thanks for any help

| | | Re: Please could anybody identify this Larvae Welcome to WAB Tony. If you've got any kind of photo editing software on your computer, you should have an option to re-size an image. Simply re-size to 800x600 pixels and save as jpeg, and you'll be just right for here. Hope to see it soon! |

| | | Re: Please could anybody identify this Larvae If you don't have a photo editing programme then download IrfanView from the internet - free, small, easy - doesn't have all the frills of the microsoft and other programmes but who needs them!
Rather than simply re-sizing the photograph - *first* crop any spare space from around the specimen, then resize - that way you get a lot of detail of the specimen ...
Good luck, Paul
PS: I don't have shares in Irfan - it's freeware. Quote: |

| | | Re: Please could anybody identify this Larvae Thanks everyone, Ihave added a photo to the Gallery - un-identified section.
Use green eyed larvae in the search and you can view it.
I,m trying to add it to this section. |
