When you get to a certain age you will realise that the time you have left of this planet is far smaller than the time you have already had here. That does tend to concentrate your mind. I don't like wasting what time I have left, so I no longer have a 'lie in'. I'm up at 4.30 - 5.0am every morning, even after a bottle or two of wine the night before. Breakfast before 5.30am. Answer Emails by 6.0am then look at my favourite web sites till 7.0am. Then get on with my work or pleasure. It's amazing how much more you can get through in a day just by getting up early. With so much I still want to do, and a limited time in which to do it, I need a longer day.
