two common colour forms of DHHM larvae are
green/yellow
and
brown

.......and I've been reading this last couple of days while I have been away (in the rain  - and come up with a new 'twist' (forgive the pun!) the only larvae with a 'curly' tail is said to be the Deaths Head - Privet has a curved spine at the back end............ ?? Just a further thought!
