| | | Caterpillar ID anyone?
Hello everyone
Can anyone help me with an ID for this caterpillar? In umbellifer flower heads by the Thames. I got some nice photos of a big parasitoid ovipositing in one and I'd like to try to find out what it was.

the caterpillar could be called.
1 eight-spotted forester.
2 mullelnmoth.
or my be you have the name by now.

I'm not so good at caterpillars, I'm not sure it's a mullein moth (one of the few that I do know!!!) but someone will be along soon who is likely to know.  |

Brilliant. Thanks everyone. D. daucella seems to be the right one. Striking caterpillar.
This is the photo of the parasitoid ovipositing in one (the caterpillar is largely concelaed but you can see a bit of it).
