| | | Re: Why Can't Anyone ID My Caterpillar :( Cheers for the reply Beryl.I just looked the Orache Moth up on UKMoths & they don't have a photo of the caterpillar, lol. But they did say this "Formerly resident in the East Anglian and Cambridgeshire fens, it was last recorded in these areas in 1915. A number of records since refer to migrants and have appeared mainly on the south and east coasts, mainly in July and August."I did find this caterpillar in the Cambridgeshire fens, lol. So if you're right Beryl,i've got quite a catch.
I've just searched on another moth website & they don't have a photo of the caterpillar either, grrrrr, lol.
Someone else please let me know if Beryls right.

John | You're welcome. as I said I'm not 100% but as the website I go to for catapillar identification is a UK one it should be ok for me to put it here for you to look http://www.whatsthiscaterpillar.co.uk/
I always go to this site if I can't ID a calerpillar |

| | | Re: Caterpillar ID Hi John,
I've merged your threads together and would be very grateful if you could avoid starting multiple threads about the same subject.
I'm sure that if anyone knows the ID they'll post it in here for you.
Thanks
