Cercopis larva - later stage (follow-up posting)

There was so much interest in my earlier related posting http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/fo...g-abdomen.html that I thought some of you would like to see what a later instar of the same Cercopis sp. larva looked like.

Since taking the original pic I have been checking back to the same location every few days and now have several more photos of this same species at various stages of development. This is the largest individual I have seen to date and almost certainly the most fully developed that I've photographed so far.
