Just looking at the sweet rocket in my garden and spotted these guys
are they orange tip butterfly caterpillars?

They don't look like them, my book shows a green caterpillar, it also says they feed on Ladys Smock,Hedge Mustard and other cruciferous plants. |

I think they might be large white caterpillars, young ones.

Orange Tip Butterflies lay one egg and will produce one Larvae as each caterpiller is canaballistic. so It looks like these are from another Species of Butterfly |

I'll just have to keep looking
I had forgotten about the one caterpillar per stem bit
They are probably cabbage whites then... shame.
