| | | help to identify metalic green caterpillar please
can anyone help me to indentify this little caterpillar, at least I think it is a caterpillar because of the way it walked along, which i got on a short clip of film. Happily gardening away, and spotted it, at first I thought it was a beetle because of the colour and shape, but looking closer it walked like a caterpillar and seemed to have a soft ish back. It then curled up in a ball in the rocky wall, in the daytime. I took it on the 24th may, in the cornwall area.
Have a better profile picture, but you cant really see the colour very well on it, but it does show these wicked looking pincer type mouth parts.
Any help appreciated, thanks |

Personally I dont think it is a caterpillar...as for what it is/will become I am intrigued.Maybe a beetle larvae?
There was no strange lights in the sky before you saw him?
