| | | Leathal caterpillar  I found this really weird carerpillar the other day. It was about 2" long, green with black speckals on its back and wielded a blue spike with a red tip on it rear. It was not fuzzy and was quite fat. Any ideas on what it was and what it might turn into will be welcolm thanx |

From your rather brief description, it could well be a Lime Hawkmoth larva, if it was seen on the ground it would likely be looking for a place to pupate.
